The Boat Warehouse Strengthens its Team with New Addition Andy Lindsay

Andy Lindsay is a renowned business executive who has made significant contributions to the marine industry. His exemplary leadership skills and role in transforming Groupe Beneteau, a leading French boat builder, into a global powerhouse in yacht manufacturing have earned him wide recognition.

Lindsay began his career in the marine industry in the early 1990s as a boat builder and project manager in the United States. He later joined Groupe Beneteau in 2001. Initially, he served as the Head of Production for the company's American operations, where he was responsible for overseeing the construction of sailboats and powerboats.

In 2007, Beneteau America appointed Lindsay as its President, and under his leadership, the company experienced significant growth in the North American market. During his tenure, he successfully introduced a range of new products and expanded the company's distribution network, which helped to increase its market share and revenue.

In 2012, Lindsay received another promotion to Group Director for Groupe Beneteau, where he oversaw the company's global operations. In this role, he played a vital role in the company's strategic planning. He led several initiatives to improve the efficiency of the company's production processes and supply chain management.

Under Lindsay's leadership, Groupe Beneteau experienced significant growth, with the company's revenue increasing by more than 50% between 2012 and 2018. In recognition of his achievements, Lindsay was named one of the top 50 industry influencers in the marine sector by Boating Industry magazine in 2018. In 2022, Lindsay left Groupe Beneteau to pursue new opportunities.

On January 1st, 2023, Dave Mayhew, President of The Boat Warehouse, announced Andy Lindsay's new position as General Manager of The Boat Warehouse.

Andy's career goes back thirty-seven years in manufacturing and operations, and he has been doing business with The Boat Warehouse for the past thirty years. We welcome his move to a new chapter in his career as General Manager with us at The Boat warehouse.

Since 1991, Andy has been actively involved in all aspects of the Four Winns boat brand, progressing from National Sales Manager to Vice President of Four Winns, Glastron, and Scarab, all of which are now part of the Beneteau organization. Lindsay's product knowledge and marketing experience with Four Winns is unequaled. With his extensive experience with The Boat Warehouse's key brands and expertise in the marine industry, we are sure Lindsay will do great things as our General Manager.

Lindsay remains a respected and influential figure in the global boating community. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the marine industry. His past roles at Groupe Beneteau have demonstrated his ability to lead successful companies and drive growth in the marine sector.

As The Boat Warehouse's general manager, Lindsay will oversee the company's operations and strategy, including sales and marketing, production, and supply chain management. His expertise in these areas will help The Boat Warehouse expand its market presence and achieve additional success.
